<p>At Finney’s MMA, where we teach the disciplines of Mixed Martial Arts, kickboxing, and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, fun and learning go together like a one-two combo.</p>

<p>A child faces new challenges every day: time-management, homework, good-manners, and even bullies. Our Mini-Finney’s program is an excellent way for children to learn valuable tools to help handle life’s many challenges–all while having a great time!</p>
<p>We focus on building attitude, discipline, and respect in our students, so they have an advantage not only when it comes to martial arts but everyday life. Mini-Finney’s is 5 days a week, 45 minutes per class, and is designed to teach children self-defense, self-confidence, responsibility, and the value of hard work in a safe atmosphere organized and run by professionals.</p>
<p>Our classes are a positive way for children to release stress, learn the importance of physical fitness, and feel accomplishment after earning achievement. We have several strategies to teach the value of settings goals, working toward them, and fulfilling them:</p>

<p>Here at Finney’s MMA, fostering a positive community amongst our members and instructors is of paramount importance to us! Our classes are geared toward everyone, males and females of all ages, and our staff is composed not only with professionals who actively compete in the sports they instruct, but with great people as well!</p>

<h3>Mini-Finney’s and Kids Jiu-Jitsu</h3>
<p>Our Mini-Finney’s and Kids Jiu-Jitsu programs focus on promoting great attitude, discipline, and respect in our young students while teaching them confidence-building self-defense techniques. </p>
<p>Martial arts is a valuable tool for helping children and preteens stay mentally and physically active, instilling them at a young age with the value of fitness and learning, all the while they’re having fun!</p>

<p>We also incorporate rewards systems in our classes, such as belting, in order to promote the value of physical fitness and achieving goals. Kids MMA and Kids Jiu-Jitsu is an amazing way to fight child obesity or attention issues! Our students stay in shape and learn while having a blast! </p>
<h3>Kickboxing</h3>
<p>Lead by striking instructor Erik Steenburg, our kickboxing class is an excellent method for getting in shape while learning a valuable self-defense tool. Classes are structured toward burning calories, working up a sweat, and learning striking techniques that help build confidence. And, of course, having fun is always a priority! </p>

<h3>Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu</h3>
<p>Few teams in the country can attest to the camaraderie that exists between members of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu at Finney’s MMA. Our Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu team is just that–a team, and we pride ourselves on the loyalty and respect that our BJJ program fosters amongst its members, young and old.</p>
<p>BJJ will get you in great shape, utilizing all the muscles in the body, building speed, strength, and endurance while burning calories. Several of our students have dropped dozens of pounds! </p>
