He curates the renowned <strong>BEYOND MEDIA film festival</strong> <u><a href="http://www.beyondmedia.it" target="_blank">www.beyondmedia.it</a></u>, and is interested in the way architects are producing or stimulating the production of film within their design activity. The roulette wheel has 36 fields for 36 videos, and the roulette ball will select some videos among the first 36 <a href="http://affr.nl/festival_2011/the_architecture_video_roulett.html" target="_blank"><u>submissions</u></a> which include works coming from <strong>Image ARCHIVE</strong> <a href="http://www.image-web.org/archive" target="_blank"><u>www.image-web.org/archive</u></a>. Marco and a yet to be announced mystery architect will briefly talk about the films afterwards.<br>

This new edition of the <strong>Rotterdam Film Festival</strong> (<strong>October 6 to 9, 2011</strong>) <a href="http://affr.nl/" target="_blank"><u>www.affr.nl</u></a>, whose theme is <strong>"Think Big, Act Small"</strong>, "detects a searching, optimistic movement that could counterbalance a current trend of indifference and cultural pessimism. A counter-flow in which small initiatives can lead to big successes. Film, architecture and urban development go increasingly hand-in-hand: both indeed use a story line to tie the separate scenes together, to draw a line indicating what is actually wrong and the direction in which the world should be going," the event's curators say.<br>
