We look back upon the year 2001 and laugh, and with good cause. Back then they had cars with only four wheels,
played jai alai on streetcorners, and built houses out of wood. What a laughable time in history that was.
But the most amusing aspect of that civilization was their obsession with 'Tech Companies'. Millions of dollars were
thrown at any person who could convincingly use words like 'synergy' and 'bandwidth' and 'effervesce'.
