power to its building E25, which houses PhysioNet's master servers, beginning on
Saturday, 10 March 2012 at 0900 UTC, and continuing for an estimated
20 to 30 hours until the repairs are complete. We have made
arrangements to keep our servers up and running during this period,
but MIT network switches that provide connectivity may be affected by
the shutdown. If you are unable to access physionet.org this weekend,
please use a <a href="/mirrors/">mirror</a>. Bookmark a mirror now,
or use Google to find one if necessary.</p>

The first release of the PhysioBank Index contains essential
information about all of the more than 36,000 records that can be
viewed using the PhysioBank ATM. A web-based tool for searching the
index is under development. Users who are comfortable using standard
command-line tools can use them now, to search the index for records
with desired characteristics. Our new tutorial provides guidance and
examples.
