<p>They describe the brew as, “Intense hop flavors and aroma are smoothly balanced in this medium bodied amber ale. With citrusy floral hop notes and a sweet-malty undertone, this American IPA is an amber beer dominated by rich Yakima grown hops. You will smell the hops, taste the hops, and feel the hops. Served in an American crafted traditional 16oz. pint glass. ABV: 6.5% • IBU: 60 OG: 15.7°P • FG: 3.8°P.”</p>

<p><a href="http://www.railstoalesbrewfest.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/07/dunktank.gif"><img class="alignleft size-full wp-image-284" title="dunktank" src="http://www.railstoalesbrewfest.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/07/dunktank.gif" alt="" width="300" height="271" border="0" /></a>New for 2011 – <a href="http://www.maverickscasino.net/index.html">Maverick’s Steakhouse & Casino</a> is hosting a dunk tank at this year’s Brewfest. Proceeds will be split between the local Upper Kittitas County Youth Activities Program and Cascade Rail Foundation. So dunk-a-hunk (or hunkette) for a good cause!</p>
<p>There will also be a Beer Bottle Ring Toss game at the NKC Tribune sponsored Brewfest Information & Best Brewer Ballot Collection Booth, with prizes – including t-shirts and more!</p>
<p>Scrip (“Beer Tickets”) can be used at either game.</p>

<p>Due to the nature of some of our smaller, family owned and operated microbreweries, there may be some adjustments to the brewer/beer list. The last minute addition of Harmon Brewing Co. from Tacoma helps to offset a couple of cancellations that came in today (Friday, July 8). Golden Hills Brewing from Reardan, WA had a family emergency and will not be able to make it to our Brewfest. Also, 192 Brewing Company from Kenmore has cancelled due to an overbooking error. There will be 18 breweries, 2 hard cider makers and a winery representing their brands with an average of 2-3 kinds of product each, so plenty of variety to choose from! <a href="http://www.railstoalesbrewfest.com/breweries/">See all of our beverage producers and their scheduled products at our Brewery Page.</a></p>

<p>Once again, the Rails to Ales Brewfest will be offering a <a href="http://www.railstoalesbrewfest.com/wp-content/plugins/download-monitor/download.php?id=3">FREE SHUTTLE</a>, running a continuous route between area parking lots and our Lodging Partner sites in Cle Elum and Roslyn. New this year is a stop at the Whispering Pines RV Park. Also, there is once again a connecting stop with the <a href="http://secure.airporter.com/cgi-bin/query/orders/s1a.cfg" target="_blank">Airporter Shuttle (which offers rides to and from Ellensburg for only $5.00 each way – need to book in advance at their website – click for link</a>).</p>
