WardFRP provides field Service for fiberglass pipe (FRP) n fitting installations, site inspection, repair, custom fabrication, etc. for RTRP (Reinforced Thermosetting Resin Pipe) piping systems. BTW: RTRP is not Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic Pipe because it is thermosetting resin - not plastic. Glass Reinforced Plastic (GRP) pipe is another misleading term that is sometimes used for Glass Fiber Reinforced Thermosetting Resin Pipe. In other words, there are various terms used to identify reinforced fiberglass reinforced pipe and fittings (reinforced composite piping) which are manufactured by the filament wound, centrifugal cast, hand laid-up (contact molding) process. BTW: One common term is FRP = fiberglass reinforced pipe </p>
<p>To avoid confusion, use a standard RTRP classification / specification such as:<br /> ASTM D2310-01 Standard Classification for Machine-Made Fiberglass (Glass-Fiber-Reinforced Thermosetting-Resin) Pipe (<a href="/astm/d2310.php">See designation code generator</a>) <br />ASTM D2996-01 Standard Specification for Filament-Wound Fiberglass (Glass-Fiber-Reinforced Thermosetting-Resin) Pipe</p>
<p>Now providing referral and contractor service for custom fabrications (pipe, fittings, double containment, conduit, support, anchors, etc). We can recommend fiberglass pipe fittings & custom fiberglass fabricators for tanks, piping, tubing, containment, etc. In addition, we will quote on custom fabrications for all reinforced composite fiberglass piping systems (including all fiberglass fittings). (One example: Odd angle customized reinforced fiberglass pipe elbows + other fiberglass pipe fittings).</p>
<p> 30 years experience in the FRP fiberglass industry including research development, process engineering, sales service, and field service qualifies me as a consultant.</p>
<p> Ward FRP Fiberglass Pipe Service offers training, installation inspection, repairs, trouble shooting and will also qualify contractors to codes at job sites. (Example: Qualification of piping installers in accordance with ASME / ANSI B 31.3) </p>
